If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, IBM's VM is a hypervisor, which is a world away from cgroups, chroot, jails, or, say, the Java VM, before anyone brings that up.


I talk about the CP/CMS Operating-system, CP-370 later VM/370 "virtualized or containerized" just the OS and not Hardware (for accounting and Security reasons):
