The article mentions fact.check.org, however, it looks like the correct site is factcheck.org.


Article also fails to mention that using something like factcheck.org will typically get you branded a liberal.


Reality has a well-known liberal bias.


Well according to TV viewing habits conservatives tip the scales for reality.

Liberal isn't a dirty word, it's not something you're branded with.


In a large (but shrinking, year by year) part of the country, it most definitely is.

Those aren't places most people want to go, though.


Neither is "socialist" but that isn't stopping anyone...


It is to the sort of people who might perform such branding.


It is in some circles.

In denmark liberale are considered to be right wing...


At some point in the early 20th century they flipped it over here. A "rebrand" of sorts.


That's not what he meant - he meant (I think) that a US liberal is still considered right wing in Denmark, i.e. that the Danish 'liberals' are US 'pinko commies' and US right-wingers are in Denmark either 'capitalist oppressors' or 'crazy religious extremist', or both, depending on context.


This is true for Sweden as well.
